Speech Bubble Post-it® Notes

Estimated Time: 10-20 minutes

Description: I let the kids draw two people doing something on an 8X10 paper. I give them 2 speech bubble Post-it® Notes to place by each figure's head. I ask them to write something in each bubble so I can see what the two people are saying in their picture. It encourages conversation in their writing. This can be done in any subject and at any grade level. The speech bubbles will let you know if they understand the assignment given.

 

Create your Own Questions

Description: Students will write questions on Post-it® Notes while reading a novel. They will leave the Post-it Notes on the page where they created their question. Students will then exchange books and answer their partners questions.
