Materials Needed:
- Post-it® Durable Tabs
- 1 inch Lined Tabs (686L-GBR)
Description:
For my homeschool student I mark start and stop locations in various books using the Post-it® durable tabs. Using green for the start and red for the stopping locations means that she has an immediate visual reminder of her assignment. Using durable tabs means that I can keep reusing the same tabs over and over, often for months!
Instructions:
Step 1: Decide how you would like reading organized - by the day or by the week.
Step 2: Place a green durable tab at the beginning of the assignment and a red at the end.
Step 3: Hand the students their book for independent reading. If you have marked the assignment by week be sure to have them move the tab each day as they read along.
