What’s to Eat?

Materials Needed: Post-it® Super Sticky Notes 3 x 3, Ultra Colors 6 Pads (654-6SSAU), Pencil or Crayon, Food Pyramid

Materials Needed:

  • Post-it® Super Sticky Notes 3 x 3
  • Ultra Colors 6 Pads (654-6SSAU)
  • Pencil or Crayon
  • Food Pyramid

Description:

This is a fun activity to teach the nutritional food groups.

Instructions:

Step 1: Divide the class into four or five groups. The teacher displays six colored large Post-it® Notes representing a Food Pyramid on the board or smart board.

Step 2: To play the game, distribute different color pads of Post-it Notes to each group to write a food from the different food groups.

Step 3: Each group will make their own Food pyramid using Post-it Notes.

Step 4: The groups will place their finished food pyramids made of Post-it Notes around the classroom.

Step 5: The group that has the most labeled foods on their Post-it Notes Food Pyramid is the winner.
