Materials Needed:

  • Post-it® Super Sticky Notes 4 x 6
  • Pencil and crayons

Description:

This activity is a great way to learn the Presidents of United States or other famous people in history.

Instructions:

Step 1: The teacher models the activity by having a famous President on her back and standing in front of the class while the students take turns asking questions that can be answered with a yes or no.

Step 2: Divide the class into pairs. Tell students to pick one President of United States to draw and label from their text on large Post-it® Note.

Step 3: The students will cover their drawing so the partner can not see the president.

Step 4: Students will stand facing each other and stick their Post-it Note drawing on their back without their partner seeing the President. Students refer to their text to ask questions.

Step 5: The students continues to guess the president until they guess the right president. The student counts how many questions were needed to guess the correct President on his/her back.

Step 6: The student to guess the name of the President with fewer hints is the winner. The players switch roles of the President on my back activity.
