Speech Bubble Post-it® Notes

Description:

I let the kids draw two people doing something on an 8X10 paper. I give them 2 speech bubble Post-it® Notes to place by each figure’s head. I ask them to write something in each bubble so I can see what the two people are saying in their picture. It encourages conversation in their writing. This can be done in any subject and at any grade level. The speech bubbles will let you know if they understand the assignment given.

Instructions:

Step 1: Draw at least two people. Color them in and add the setting.

Step 2: Place a Post-it Notes speech bubble by each person\'s mouth.

Step 3: Write what each person is saying in this moment in time.
