Mini Me Book Report

Materials Needed: Post-it® Super Sticky Notes 3 x 3, Pencil and crayons

Materials Needed:

  • Post-it® Super Sticky Notes 3 x 3
  • Pencil and crayons

Description:

This activity is for the class to make a quick book report.

Instructions:

Step 1: Tell students to select a fiction or non-fiction book that they recently read in class to write about and illustrate using a pad of Post-it® Notes.

Step 2: The students will stack each Post-it Notes with a space for the title of the part of the mini book report.

Step 3: The students will start with the last page first writing the word Conclusion: the ending of the story, on the top of the Post-it Note.

Step 4: Next, the students will write the Main Events: what happened in the story and add their Post-it Note to show the Conclusion title.

Step 5: Next, the Post-it Note with the Main Characters: name and a short description of characters in the story. Following, Post-it Note will have the setting of the story.

Step 6: Last Post-it note, the cover page with Title, Author and Illustration. Students will love to see their mini books reports displayed in the classroom.
